I was incredibly lucky to have Nets on my home birth team. She has the most positive, supportive, grounded energy that helped me bring my second little one into the world. After a roller coaster of a pregnancy, I made it to 39 weeks and my dream of a homebirth became a reality. Nets arrived when my contractions were starting to intensify and at one point I just remember being on my hands and knees alongside my husband and Nets and we were all sort of swaying to a Vance Joy album. Her approach felt both intuitive and rooted in the science of what was happening in each moment. If we were to go for a third child, Nets would absolutely be on my birth team again :)

I had the pleasure of meeting Nets through my midwife Bayla at Charm City Midwives where she is working while getting her CPM. She essentially took over my care under Bayla's supervision about midway through my pregnancy. Nets has the most calming presence; she is warm, sensitive, empathetic, respectful, attentive and so knowledgeable. She always had great suggestions to help me through the pains of pregnancy. There wasn't any malady she wasn't familiar with. I was so happy she was available to attend the birth of my daughter because I felt comfortable and connected with her. She understands the physical, spiritual, and emotional aspects of birth and helped me to work through my fears during labor. Even though I was prepared, things weren't moving along as quickly as I would have liked! She was gentle and helped me to get things moving along. My husband didn't watch as many birth videos as I had and got scared when the baby's head was out and not moving and silent before the rest of her body came out. Nets was so calm and exclaiming how beautiful her features were and set him instantly at ease as he was catching our daughter. She was born at 2am and had a long labor and Nets was there with me, in-tune with me and the baby, the entire time. The birth of my daughter is the most amazing thing that has ever happened to me. I can't wait to give birth again and hope to have Nets there with me!

Nets is intuitive, and very easy to talk to and work with. She was a true blessing at my birth. As part of my birth team, she understood and respected my wishes for labor. She made helpful suggestions (but was never overbearing) like to take some honey for energy, and was willing to help in any way I asked! For example, she gladly helped with the rebozo during contractions. After my birth, she helped me clean myself gently and with great care. I felt so respected and accomplished!

If there were a direct portal to the spiritual connection it takes to maximize the birthing experience, Nets has the gate code. I'd given birth before but this one was different. I had rough contractions for 40 hours before Nets arrived. Within literal minutes of her guiding beside me, my water bag passed and baby was on the move. It wasn't just the amazing techniques she took the time to show dad that helped me immensely, it was the knowledge in just listening to my voice and recognizing when it was finally time. The coaching was unmatched. No video, class or tutorial I watched, allowed me to channel my energy the way her massage, soft spokenness and guidance, did. Although I had a completely different execution than planned, set up for or expected, she flowed with every sudden change I made like we'd rehearsed it. Dad and I agree that we have no idea how our experience would have worked with out this divine being. I'm convinced Nets was sent to us. Truly a life changing experience and I'll definitely be on board for baby #3.

After giving birth at a hospital for my two son, I decided to experience home birth for my daughter who was recently born. I was 40 weeks and 4 days when my water broke in the middle of the night, but did not experience any contractions only until the morning time. When the contractions began to intensify, I had called Nets who fortunately arrived within 10 minutes. The moment she walked into the door, I felt this incredible sense of relief and was instantly assured that my daughter and I were in great hands. She managed to assemble all the equipment so quietly, quickly, and efficiently. Upon her initial examination, she noticed that I was fully dilated. She assured me that being fully dilated is not an indication to start pushing. Rather, I should just listen to my body and push when it tells me to do so. For the first time in my life, I was in control of childbirth. This feeling to push came an hour and half later and even during the time I started to feel that sensation, Nets encouraged me to continue listening to my body. At some moments I felt like I didn’t know what to do but Nets fully supported me through all the doubt and constantly reminded me to just believe in my body and the birthing process that my body is naturally aware of. This moment was all I ever expected in a midwife that would assist in the birth of my child. I am eternally grateful of the self-confidence and self-awareness of my own body that she instilled throughout this entire process. For the first time, I was asked for my permission before every any examination or contact during childbirth. My husband and I were so impressed because we did not imagine that childbirth could be so calming and empowering. We have this wonderful experience that couldn’t have been achieved without Nets.

Nets was a God sent. She has an incredible intuitive and kind way of being and she was the absolute perfect birth support for me. Her passion and knowledge about all things birth is extensive and I deeply trusted her advise and guidance from moment one. From the pre-birth care, to birth, to postpartum she showed up in ways that felt absolutely essential. I had a 44 hour, posterior birth, which could have been categorized as traumatic but it was everything but. It was epic and holy so deeply loving and that’s in large part because Nets was there. In labor, she came to my home and helped me labor until I was ready to transition to the hospital. When we arrived at the hospital, she made sure I felt empowered and present the entire time. She advocated for me and helped me make decisions (there were many decisions that needed to be made in labor). She helped slow things down so I could process my options and make the healthiest choices for me and my baby. Nets is pure love and I would recommend her to my most beloved.

Nets was exactly what we needed as a doula. We had our first daughter during the pandemic and knew with our second that we wanted more support. Nets met up with us a couple of times before the delivery. She got to know us as a family, how we live, and what's important to us. She provided excellent craniosacral treatment before and during labor. She had exactly what we needed when we needed it during labor. She never inserted her opinion but provided it when asked. She worked seamlessly alongside the medical team at the hospital where we chose to deliver. Her presence changed the atmosphere into the best environment for me to welcome my little one into the world. She stayed until we were all settled and helped us with the transition to parents of our baby. She came to check on us at home, which allowed us to process the birth and reminded us to call upon our village. Nets has wonderful experience, calmness, and empathy. I couldn't have asked for a better doula than Nets. There aren't enough words that could describe how helpful and hands-ons she was during my labor. Nets has such a beautiful peace about her. From the early labor to active labor and pushing she gave me massages. Along with wondedful words of encouragement. This was my first vbac after 3csections yes you read it correctly. When the contractions came Nets assisted me by massaging my lower back or adding pressure. She also told me to tell her what I wanted her to do. My first vbac was so special and I'm beyond blessed for all the assistance and support she provided. I highly recommend her as a doula.

No words can truly describe my experience with Nets being my doula/midwife. Nets didn’t leave my side even for a second. She was calm supportive and present during my labor. Her calm voice taking to me during each wave helped distract my mind from the pressure of labor. When I was experiencing back labour, Nets took out her Robozo and another tactic she had on hand to help relieve the pressure from my back. She also helped align baby in my pelvic, so his head was putting pressure properly on my cervix was directly in middle of my pelvis. I would hire Nets in a blink of an eye!! Highly recommend!

It was a privilege to have Nets at our birth. Her calm and compassionate demeanor was so appreciated during a fast and intense labor. No act of service is too small for Nets - during my labor, she did anything necessary to make sure I was comfortable and supported. She is very gentle and observant. She gave me and my husband space to labor together and helped him feel confident as my primary support person. She helped to make our first home birth experience a very positive one!

I have been able to shift and embrace some of my biggest journeys with Nets by my side. I have had the honor or having Nets attend 4 of my births ranging from a hospital birth with an epidural to a drug-free birth center birth and everything in between. She is a calming presence for mother and a strong advocate with providers. It is hard to put into words how amazing Nets is. It was truly invaluable having her there with me every step of the way. She is everything and more that you could want in a doula. I highly recommend her.

Nets' ability to listen to the flow of energy and somatic sensations in my body -- with patience, compassion, and attunement (at a distance no less!) -- really helped to clear some challenging old blockages and assist in my healing from surgery. I felt invigorated with a sweet sense of serenity afterwards, like a weight had been lifted... and that I had been in the presence of a true healer. Thank you Nets!

Recently, I woke up in the morning with a severe and terrifying case of vertigo. As soon as I was able, I called Nets to ask her to come see me ASAP. She arrived within an hour and immediately began a craniosacral treatment. The first thing I noticed was her calm self-assuredness which allowed my nerves to begin to slowly settle. At some point I fell asleep. She stayed with me until late in the afternoon. By the time she left, I felt safe, and, gratefully, about 90% free from symptoms of vertigo. The following morning, I was completely back to my normal self and deeply appreciative of her expertise!

Nets is an incredibly gifted therapist with the depth of her soul that goes for miles. She is very intuitive and wise. Her reading of what my body needs, what my body expresses is always right on spot. Sometimes during the session, I can feel that generations of wise women/healers are sitting in spirit with her as she listens to my body system.

Nets, I cherish the Friday morning we spent together outdoors among the trees. You gently guided me - enabling me to tune in to energy flow and blockages.
